my housemate got an acer netbook.. quite nice..n good..even the processor is ok..she also got another one for her bro...but dont know what brad...she's now abandon her laptop...hehheeh
I say VAIO!! I have a love affair with mine :).. and they come in slim design, white in colour also hehehe...

Sony recently launched the new P series VAIO.. with 8" screen and weighing just 1.4lbs...me thinks the price is about GBP899 and it comes in white also :).. thinking of getting one bila balik msia for raya this year :P
I bought mine in Msia before we came, mine is a CR series VAIO laptop. I've used a number of brands before.. acer, compaq, hp with same speed processor but Vaio is definitely the best for me :) Good luck in your netbook hunting!
