Stratford-Upon-Avon

This happened on New Year's eve..
we went to Birmingham for a couple of nights..stayed at Nana's house..
I think Birmingham is such a nice place..strategic location..it's somewhere in the middle of England..Midlands..senang nk pegi mana2..
especially loads of treasures hidden in Midlands and surrounding it.. (am jealous a bit here..hehe..)
For example, stoke is just 40 mins drive, Warwick castle, Bicester bout 1 hour, Shakespeare's birthplace, Cadbury world and etc..sounds nice huh!!

So in 3 days we went to Stoke on Trent( i dh blog bout the loots okay!!), Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick castle (luar je la..) and Warsall..lgpun mase tu winter..nk buat outdoor activities ni agak kureng.. we were all wrapped up in thick jacket..and it was snowing in Birmingham..bbrrr..

It's Shakespeare's birthplace..Nice area..countryside..
rase tak puas and next time i think we should go and visit there again!!

Ok kt sini ade river and the houses that related to shakespeare..birth house die laa..wife's house, daughter, mother's house...semua ade..skool, church where he was buried and etc..
memandangkan my brilliant hubby left Adam's pushchair at Stoke on trent (mmg tau die nih)..so we decided to get the hop on hop off bus..luckily i brought my student ID so got further discount..cheapo je..but oklaa..cover the whole area..

cume tak sempat nk naik canal cruise...and weather was not so nice..dark and gloomy..al-maklumla winter an..wat d u expect..hehe..

Nice, relaxing place..boleh tghk duckies, canals even ade shopping place gaks..not bad!!

dalam byk2 rumah, we stopped by at his wife's house je..malas la nk turun..

amik gambar dr luar je..if nk masuk dlm cotatge ni kene byr separate..Malas!!afterall visit tempat mkn die, tempat tido la etc..

ade armoury museum gaks..sesape berminat boleh la visit!! ;)

then we went to Warwick castle..tak masuk pun..lgpun during winter tak byk activities..summer br ade..so we'll go there again during summer..lgpun dh ade merlin pass..

actually we decided to go back to London on new year's eve..but Nana insisted that we stayed for the fireworks..menarik gak laa..
kalau kt London jgn harap la nk pegi..sbb org ramai sgt and of course tak leh nk drive..kt birmingham parking dekat je dgn city centre..very convenient..the kids la yg seronok..hehe..(actually mummy die pun!! ;P)

Birmingham Eye..tak le naik pun..lebih kurang mcm kt Manchester je..London eye is bigger..(jgn marah ye org Birm!!)

ni dinner at Nana's house..actually we invited my hubby's friend yg duk sana gak..so next time boleh la choose n tido rumah mane..hehe..(save sket kan!!)

and we missed it!! mmg sgt sedap and juicy..
diorang ni mmg terror masak..
asam pedas and ayam goreng pun kalau i teringat boleh terliur..kene berguru wif them ni nk goreng ayam crispy cam tuh..
owh salivating!!!

and this was the other nite..
we bought Big John's pizza... 16" babe..
mmg besar and murah..
sgt berbaloi...

the next day we left Birmingham for London!!
will definitely visit there again!! ;)
