Selfridges Sale

Hohoho..this year I went to Selfridges on boxing day..Well Harrods still tutup so okay lah..mase 2008 pegi sini with my parents and hangkut semua org..mmg la serik..
so this year confirm la pegi sorang and meet my shoe-holic/shopaholic friend..

This boxing day mmg tak target apa2 dah..budget pun kurang..
yelah dh beli my ULTIMATE..lagi nk mengada..
tp just ingat nk cari Longchamp..

so sbb kemalasan, lambat la kuar rumah..
Selfridges bukak at 11am..so ingat nk queue awal sket je dlm 30 mins..
but tak kesampaian..i reached there around 11.40am..hahhahaa...
tu pun kene queue dlm 5 mins nk masuk selfridges..
Q Gucci and LV tak yah citer laa..still panjang melaut..
Sorry i tak heran okay!! hahahhaa...

kt dalam tu org punye la ramai..but because Longchamp kt lower ground so kurang la sket kesesakan die..bile sampai sana agak frust gak la sbb mostly xde sale..
the SA kate ade sket yg sale but of course la dh habis..tinggal bagpack longchamp je..
mula2 ingat nk beli but rase cam takkan pakai..
(owh i was really careful this time okay!!no impulse buy!!hehe..)
yg ade long handle pun normal price..
so i just grab small and medium long handle..
mase kt situ jumpe la gak another shopaholic/bagaholic mate K.Awanis!! tak amik pic pulak..
then lepas byr jumpe K.Ip and her sister..
mase sale ni tak yah risau le pegi sorang ke hapa..tau punye mesti jumpe kawan2 shopping nih..hehe..tp kalau nk jln ramai2 susah nk tgk barang..so better split up and jumpe later..

then i went up to see Yantie at shoe section..
Selfridges dh refurbished their shoe sale section..dh jd gallery..
mmg kelass and cantik..but me dh hilang touch..sbb dh lama x pegi tak tau kt mane brand ape..
so main redah je laa...
as usual 1st day sale mmg jgn harap la nk dpt shoes..

then jumpe Yantie..

ni kt Ferragamo section..
dh penat try kasut tp tak jumpe..terjumpe pulak ngan si Zahida Rafiq ni..
hehe..amik la gambar..
padahal years before ni i jumpe ramai celebrity and datin2 termasuk Datin Ziela Jalil, tp x penah la pulak nk amik gambar..
sekali sekala bagus gak kan..blh buat kenangan..

Pastu dh habis jln2 kt shoes..terjumpa this giant heels..
mmg best..ape lagi..

And actually both of us got something from Ferragamo!!!
hehe...tak dapat beli shoes..
beli Bag yg ade Classic Ferragamo shoes pun jadi lah..
mula2 i found it..but Yantie x beli bag lg so i asked her to beli but the SA carikan for me and ade pulak last piece..
ishhh menggoda betul..ape lg..
70% babe!!!
nasib beli coz mase check kt Harrods still lg 50%..mahal wooo..
nampak je sempoi..but u know..its Salvatore Ferragamore!!
cikai pun jgn harap nk dpt murah!!
so rezeki jgn ditolak!!
(arrghh garu kepala..but bak kate my friend, biar menyesal beli, jgn menyesal tak beli..hahhahaaa..)

Then after shoes, we just went around...tgk2..
dua2 pun x de apa sgt nk beli..
so we went outside lepak kt coffee shop refreshed..
tak amik pics pulak...

dh ok tu ingat nk jln2 kt high street shop but orang ramai nye ya amat..tak larat..
tp sbb mase dtg nampak org gile queue kt Swarovski, we went there..
mmg la cantik2 sgt jewelleries die..
eii nyaris nk beli but memikirkan budget tak byk plus I want to pow my hubby..so simpan la dulu hasrat ku!!!
price wise pun not bad..
ishh why la i tak amik pics kt situh!! *sigh
bz sgt tgk bling bling!!!




after that we all pun balik..
eii mak buyung ni kene la sedar diri..mase tuh pinggang pun dh sakit...
ish ish ish....






Ni mase nk tunggu bas balik..
owh lupe nk mention..on that day xde tube coz strike..so i had to take 2 buses to be there..
nasib la rumah tak jauh mane dr central..
but the problem..bas nk balik full giler..
nasib org tak squashed me....





dpt naik bas pun dh penuh and berdiri sebelah driver..
si driver ni pulak x nak stop until Tottenham Court Road..sebabnye kalau die stop je org rempuh nk naik bas..
so to be safe die jalan terus je...

tgk la org yg mcm semut tuh..
nasib jugak la naik bas dpn selfridges..kalau depan sket mmg xde harapan laa...

ish boxing day ni mmg giler..
but being me..after 3 times berboxing, i kinda get the tune..
dh tau nk strategize..
selalunye org2 yg dtg dr luar just for shopping yg bersesak2 ni..
kitorang yg duk sini dh boleh budget ape and bile nk beli barang dah..
unless u really aim for certain bags during sale..afterall Bicester Village pun ade
tu yg i did my shopping earlier and tak heran nk beratur or bersesak2..
hehe..jgn marah ye..

ok la i think that's it..
yg Harrods tak yah citer la..bukan adepape pun...
mmg tak excited pun this year..hehe.,..
*i guess sbb dh beli Missy C dh jd anti klimaks dah...kalau tak beli naik harga pulak..ish2..
apa2 lah..
we can never get enough of anything rite???

Food Hall

Emm winter..owh winter..
ape lg nk di cerita kalau tak bout foodie..
winter this time byk gak la adventures..dr snow yg tah berapa kali since before christmas sampai la hari ni and coming soon..classes and meeting yg cancelled..dapat cuti free..
memandang kan dpt unplanned hols..makanya sye pun duduk la rumah bermalas-malasan..malas nk pikir study, buku, projects, audits, patients cases..bla..bla..bla..hehehe..pemalas sungguh..

btw wanna talk bout food..sblom ni i'm not really fancy eating..mmg suke mem'baking' but not cooking and eating..but lately rajin pulak masak memasak ni..lagi2 lepas pegi rumah kawan2 taste benda baru then mesti try kt rumah..
best la pulak..so memandangkan nk keluar rumah sgt la malas sebab penuh lagi dgn ais yg tak cair2..still tebal..my snowman kt belakang rumah pun still teguh berdiri eventho dh 3 hari..
mulalah mencari idea2 nak masak..makan benda2 exotic yg susah nk dapat kt sini..
in fact anak2 teruna ku pun asyik la ke dapur amik periuk dan kuali main masak2...sbb asyik2 mummy duk dapur je..

disebabkan kesian tgk diorang main periuk betul, last thursday i went out to buy some groceries and kitchen stuffs from Argos at North Finchley..(ni kes dh boring abis la ni..) and terjumpa pulak set masak2..beli la for them..now ni dh tak boleh beli satu je..mesti beli satu sorang....
punye la happy diorang..so my conclusion is: bukan girls je suke main masak2 ni..boys pun suke..heheh...
since Adib pun dapat cuti free maka suka la budak2 dua org nih...

Ni set masak2 Adam...terus susun atas kerusi imagined diorang masak mcm mummy..hehe..
melentur buluh biar dr rebung..
(bukan mcm bapak, dh sampai London br 1st time pegang dapur..hehhe..but now dh terror!! ;)

bersemangat betul budak ni..siap makan dlm tudung periuk lg..
ish kalau org2 tua ni mesti marah..hehhe...

Pastu tak sudah dgn masak2..die pegi pulak amik bag mummy die..
berangan pakai Gucci le pulak...rosak..rosak...;P
budak2 ni kalau duk umah ke hulu ke hilir..non-stop..
pening jugak di buatnye...

And yesterday teringin la nk buat kepok leko yg dh lama di postponed..
bukan ape selama ni kitorang tak tau pun kt butcher tu ade jual mackerel..sbb hubby yg selalu pegi..bile tanye ade ke tak..manjang je kate takde..tension gak laa..
so last time die pegi ade pulak sepeket mackerel..seronok laa...
and last nite cuba2 la buat kepok leko...
Adib pulak bile nampak mummy die menguli terus excited..
die mintak nk buat..kang tak bg bising pulak..so i created a space for him to gentel the keropok...

pandai tuh..siap mintak tepung lg nk uli..hehhe...

ni la hasil gentelan Adib..

ni mummy punye laks...
ok la kan??
chef tolong approve ek!!

and then lepas dh rebus terus la si budak kecik ni makan..bangga betul die makan kopok lopok buatan sendiri..
(he called this kopok lopok...haha..lawak la adib nih!!)
pagi td habis goreng semua the keropok..taste ok..but maybe terhalus ikan die kot..hehhe..
but for a first timer not bad la kan...

Recipe: ikan mackerel, tapioca flour and salt..

Then dh tengahari after hubby balik from badminton, i went out to pick something at school..dh 3 hari duk umah..boring le pulak..nk kuar semua skali wif the kids..sejuk sgt..kesian pulak kt diorang...jadinye i went out alone..
after dh settle kt school..pegi menjejak kt Harrods..mencari P..dh habis.huhu sedih..
(Yantie u're lucky babe!!)
siap i pegi Sloan St, Bond St and lastly Selfridges...semua pun xde..
but kt Harrods dpt la sepasang SW..hehe..jadi laa...

lg satu aim hari ni nk cari Macaroons..
kt Harrods food Hall takde..then pegi ke Selfridges Food Hall...
nasib ade..tu pun tinggal 2 jenis je..
yg i tau kt Paul Coffee but sbb mase suntuk, malas and terlupa nk pegi yg dekat Bromton Road tuh..jadinye belasah je beli 2 jenis tu..
nk beli Krispy Kreme jugak..but if share 2 families lg best boleh beli double dozen..so after called my friend, we decided to buy it next time..ok la tuh!!!

bile dh makan..sodappp le pulak yg nih..
ala nyesal tak beli byk2...huhu...
nnt nk try pegi Paul's pulak..makan mini macaroons...

and ni pic sebelom balik td...depan selfridges...
Alamak snow pulak kt Oxford St nih!!sblom lg lebat and stuck better cabut..
jadinye straight to Bond St station, grabbed some TR and toodlessss..

what a lovely evening!!

Boxing Day

Olla..how r u ladies??I'm ok tp malas..
owhh..kenapa la pemalas sungguh nk update blog lately..
i know..i know..byk sgt dah benda yg nk di blog kan..duk procrastinate je from one day to another..
i guess this is related to the gloomy and snowy winter outthere..hehe..saje cari excuse..
i dun know where to start really..but i'll try my best..since some of my friends dah tak sabar nak tengok the loots..

Well frankly speaking..i bought nothin much this year..Boxing day sale was boring..stok tak banyak..very frustrating..especially Gucci..
emm btw I didn't aim to buy any bag this sale coz mmg tak tau ape hajat di hati..tu la selalu sgt shopping tak kira masa sampai dh tak heran..heheh..sape meluat sila muntah..
tu la now I realized that i'm not that excited..
cumenye the night before boxing day ade org telah meracun kate VAT nk naik after new year..so mlm tu mula lah tak tido malam..seriously takde satu bag pun yang 'popped up'..tak tau ok..plus budget pun ciput kan..
and i had a blast on christmas night..bayangkanla ade 2 families (Nana's and Shida's) plus my hub's cuz from germany pun datang same..so we had to sumbat hub's cuz ke umah neighbour..so satu family tido in our 2nd room and the other tido kt hall..actually hall tu bile dh convert ok je..heheh..
i tak kisah pun..dh namenye shopaholic..the more the merrier..hahaa...
To Nana and Shida, sorry la kalau tak berapa selesa..hehe..

and thanks a million to Mozard coz sanggup bangun pagi2 hantar we all ke Harrods..and i tell u..it was the best choice..ade our friend dh pegi Selfridges then give up datang Harrods..hahah..i dah tau dh camane kt selfridges tuh..coz last year i went there with my parents and kids..ayoo mmg tak tahan..dh la kecik..sempit pulak tu..so bile org dh queue lagi la jadi sardin..that's why bile dengar harrods sale on the same day..i went there..eventho ramai but still ok..
Yg menyampah nye Gucci this time was S**ks!!! gile pemalas staff die..dh tinggal 15mins baru terhegeh2 nk bg number..habis semua org berebut2..tension je..i ni dh la a few of my friends order bags jugak..and yg tak bestnye jugak..stok yg ade semua tak best!!tak byk classics on sale..nasib la mase summer sale i dh rembat 2 bags..kalau tak sure nyesal..
this time yg range mahal2 je banyak..dh after sale pun still can't afford babe!! and the design sugguh tak berkenan di mata!!!Tension!!Tension!!

Alhamdulillah dapat la beli brg generally walaupun tak best...hahahha..so enjoy the picchas darlings!!!

ni la muka2 tak sabar nak masuk..penat dah queue since 7.30am..

Akhirnya...shopping dari gelap sampai dh gelap pun tak reti2 nk balik..hehe..
nasib la our hubs with kids kat umah tu ok je...

(btw i dh shopped for my hubby kt bicester b4 boxing day..so die dh tak kisah..hehhe..)

My perfumed drawer liners and some hand lotions..actually i bought 4 hand lotions crabtree nih..but satu dh bagi my friend and satu lg dh pakai..tak sempat gak nk snap and my hubby dh buang the box..

Kt Harrods ni mase sale mmg drawer liner die murah2..me mmg tak penah fail beli..so nnt before balik nk stok byk sket bwk balik..baru laa harum semua drawers ku..

and ade lg some of Harrods arcade bags...malas nk snap picchas..but i'll upload it in my sales blog nanti..

and mase tgh browse Prada shoes kt Harrods..terjumpe la Datin Ziela Jalil tgh shopping..tp tak pulak nk snap picchas..coz tak bwk camera...huhu..dan jumpe byk lg org2 yg dikenali..
(I really need a new point and shoot camera!!! uwaaa nk Leica..nak Leica!!!)

ok moved on to day 2..
actually tgh boring2 tu teringin gak nk pegi Selfridges..tp mmg jgn harap la pegi on boxing day tuh..jln kt Harrods and sloan street pun macam nk patah kaki..
so on sunday i went to Selfridges..

mak aii..org still ramai..queues still on..so malas nk buang masa kt bags sections..
i went straight away to shoe sections..
puas jugak laa browse..normally i'll get my shoes from Harrods coz the bargain was much better..but this time around takde pulak shoes yg berkenan kt harrods..so terpaksalah pulak menjejak Selfridges..
bagai pucuk dicita ulam mendatang..dapat la satu yg dh lama dicari2...

KG always be among my fave shoes..but the problem is byk yg ade 'pig skin lining'..so bile dapat design yg cantik tak boleh pakai pulak..

luckily haritu terjumpe satu heels ni yg bukan pig skin lining...
actually i was holding 3 pairs..but the other 2 ade pig skin jugak..but not on the insole..tp kt blkg sole..huhu..melepas la lg!!!
jadi la buat kasut pegi dinner..kan..kan..
hopefully before balik dapat laa lagi a few pairs of Kurt Geiger nih!! same goes to L.K.bennet..

and seperti biasa..Tie Rack..
but unfortunately tak byk square scarves yg tinggal...agaknye habis dh kene sapu kot...takpe laa dpt long scarves pun ok..
and the boxes pun SA tu kedekut nk bagi..but being me yg dh jadi regular customer kt situ pandai2 la men'demand'..hehhe...dapat jugak..
last year mase economy tak bagus, TR tak produce gift boxes dah..
so sesape yg ade box tu simpan laaa...
tissue wrap pun not available anymore..punye la cut costs...

Selfridges 100 years celebration!!

Ni cerita lg basi..hahaaa..
but like i told u b4..
it's for my own memory..

Well..it's Selfridges 100 years celebration..
during May..they had this pampering day on every Thursday..
so dpt la 2 times gak meredah celebration ni..
mmg fun..coz u can pampered urself at every beauty counter..
they served drinks, Krispy Kreme..
and dpt freebies..yeppiieee...
(and ni b4 exam ye..hehe..)
nk berjaya kena la pandai2..kan?? takkan laa nk mengadap buku je..
(chewah dh pass blh la cakap..but bukan riak yee..)
owh fyi..during study leave..and tgh tension2 tu me sempat lg take a break naik bus from Gower Street pegi sini sbb nk minum coke dlm botol kuning..hehe..
pastu ngadap le buku balik sampai library tutup!!!
